Maine Air Permits

Maine issues air emission licenses. Minor sources and new source review (new equipment or modifications) are licensed under Chapter 115; major sources also need a Part 70 (Title V) license under Chapter 140. All of Maine is in the Ozone Transport Region, which lowers the VOC major source threshold (see the permit entries). New sources and minor and major modifications require a BACT analysis. General permits cover rock crushers and concrete batch plants.
