Indiana Air Permits

IDEM's Office of Air Quality ties permit level to a source's potential to emit (PTE): exemptions below registration levels, registrations, Minor Source Operating Permits (MSOP) for natural minors, FESOPs for synthetic minors, and Part 70 (Title V) permits for major sources. New construction and modifications get the matching level of NSR: minor NSR (construction permits), PSD (326 IAC 2-2), or nonattainment emission offset review (326 IAC 2-3), usually combined with the operating permit.
